2019 Is going to be the summer of 27 balloon walls. As I build each installation I’ll post photo’s here.
In the end I think it was 30 walls as some were added and Chester was built twice due to the parade being postponed. Hopefully you can see as you scroll down that I got a bit better the more I made.
Each wall was completely free standing and incorporated over 500 balloons in 11″, 16″ and 36″ sizes. I used 3 base plates to give a really solid foundation and 2 carbon poles on each base. I was able to adjust the height of each wall if required.
The 27 balloon walls were in place for 7 days – 1 week before each city had its pride parade. Balloon shine was used to keep the balloons looking fresh and I was amazed how good they looked each time I returned to dismantle.
