Oldham, Manchester

Here’s a 300 drop in Oldham. I’ve installed this for the last 3 years in a Pizza & Prosecco bar. It’s a nice warm up for the London drops required on the 30th & 31st. This drop stays in place for 2 days before New Years. The balloons will last because they’re air filled.

Sadlers Wells

Every December we decorate this theatre in the theme of the Christmas show. Mainly we cover the stairs but also a VIP area on the first floor. No idea why but this building makes the balloons burst on any ceiling – metal, concrete or plasterboard. So I used my balloon corral again to save the […]

Denton, Manchester

It’s never easy installing a balloon drop when the ceiling is super low. This is one I’ve been doing for around 7 years for Brother UK at Denton Golf Club. I cut a super thin net and chain stitch along the bottom & up the side to avoid a low hanging pull line. A few […]

The Waldorf

Back at The Waldorf in central London for this organic bubbles display. The client wanted a subtle effect and these screen printed clear balloons worked well mixed with the white. The Palm Court is a fantastic room, here’s another installation from 2022 with great lighting:

Leicester Square

I was back in Leicester Square to build this arch to celebrate 10 years of Magic Mike. Rather than use vinyls I had these Reflex Gold & Black balloons screen printed. I’ve decided that adding vinyls takes too long and usually requires extra crew. If you look closely you can see I added 4 sets […]

Kimpton Clocktower Hotel

This was an old school installation. 1000 helium filled balloons made into bunches. I’ve worked in this hotel before and the high ceiling can slow you down when inflating. So – I made this “balloon corral” using 3 bases, poles & netting. We mostly bunched the balloons in 10’s (90 x 10) but the downstairs […]

Floating Menu

This week we’ve added a floating menu to the admin area. This gives quick access to the list of participants & an easy link to view your race page after you’ve made your changes. It saves scrolling down the page to the very bottom and nice big buttons are easy to click or touch.
