For the 1000th show of Kinky Boots we worked with the Adelphi Theatre on The Strand to celebrate with this balloon drop. The Red balloons were printed 2 sides ‘Kinky Boots”. Check some of our other theatre decorations.
We helped Wicked celebrate 11 spellbinding years with another WICKED 2000 balloon drop. To mix things up I went for a brighter Lime green balloon as the branding on their website had changed. Here’s yesterdays installation at Sadler’s Wells Theatre for The Red Shoes. Again we inflated & bunched 800 balloons, with 10am access we were finished for 12.30. As the balloons needed to last until midnight I printed them on Qualatex which were also kinder on the fingers.
Yesterday I was back at the Prince of Wales theatre in Leicester Square for the Half a Sixpence launch party. With a team of 2 we started at 10am and had 80 bouquets of 10 in place for 3pm. Excellent 2 colour print on these – that’s a real photo above, it’s not superimposed.

We were back at The Apollo for wicked 10. This show just keeps running and amazing to think we’ve been installing these drops since the very 1st year. It’s been like a balloon drop apprenticeship, we’ve got slowly better and it’s good to use the skills in other theatres.
Amazing to help celebrate 9 spellbinding years for Wicked this September 2015. They dropped 2000 Emerald Green balloons and were lucky enough to watch the show, it’s a fantastic story and the songs just blow you away.
