Here’s another drop at Old Billingsgate. This one was more difficult to rig as there was no simple route for the pull line. The 4 banners under the net were held in place with 4 steel cables which were sharp to touch. I didn’t want the pull line going anywhere near these so I took it straight out sideways to the balcony.
You can also see I had to hang the net at an angle as there wasn’t enough room between the truss and the banners.
I’m used to bending the pull line around corners, to DJ boxes, bars and balconies. When I do this the drop is usually in a clear space with plenty of room for the line to run under the net and release the balloons. Despite the limited area on this one, they dropped np problem.
