My first drop at Victoria Warehouse in Manchester. This was 550 balloons stuffed with scratch cards for a Christmas Conference. To get around the problem of trying to drop the balloons over every seat, we moved the whole thing back in the room and got all the attendants to leave their seats for the drop.
This was another raffle drop but the balloons were stuffed with lottery scratch cards on this occasion. It turns out scratch cards are not easy to stuff inside a flat 12″ balloon but with some effort we managed it.
When a client supplies 550 lottery tickets you have to make sure the net is the exact length to hold that quantity. Sometimes less is more and if a shorter net delivers a better look we’ll make it fit. As the net is filled we can judge the quantity and slightly under inflate (or over inflate) the last 100 balloons to make them fit perfectly.
As usual there were rehearsals on stage so I had to rig in the evening. A rigger from PSP left me with a pulley systems so I could simply attach the the net corners and pull the drop up into place.
” It looked great and drop itself went really well!
Thanks so much for your support. Thanks Beccy
