Another balloon wall installed for NuSkin with a colour scheme of Wild Berry & Purple this time at the Birmingham Metropole. 3 large bases were used so this was completely freestanding. You might also notice I used ‘balloon shine’ to give the balloons that polished glass look.
The wall had to be complete for 8am so I arrived at 6 to give myself a clear 2 hours. Organic walls are effective, especially as back drops for social media photos – but they do take a lot of balloons and therefore a solid 2 hours to build. Although this wall only looks 2 colours (Wild Berry and Purple) there are 3 different sized balloons plus marble & chrome. So that makes 8 different types. It looks like they’re placed very random but you do need to think about what you’re doing as you build. The more expensive marble, chrome & 3ft are all facing the front and the back of the wall only has plain old 11″.
What’s also time consuming is taking these down, as they’re freestanding and built on a frame I have to return to burst the balloons and collect the bases & frame – not the end of the world but it has to be costed in.
