This year VetPlus decided to go all out for their annual party as they’re 20 years old. They booked the whole of Birmingham Town Hall and wanted the stage, reception and downstairs bar decorating. It’s always interesting decorating the town hall where there’s no helium allowed.
It’s a spectacular building and you have to respect the rules that go with it. VetPlus wanted a balloon drop with voucher prizes inside. The tech guys were really helpful and explained that we were not allowed to attach anything to walls so a standard drop was not possible. As a compromise we made 36″ stuffed with 5″ balloons and threw them over the crowd, they were bopped around until eventually the large 36″ bursts releasing the small 5″ with vouchers inside.
